The main activity for Monolit JSC is the construction and execution of repair works. Over the years, the company built many large-scale projects throughout the country. Objects are of different nature - in industrial and civil construction, infrastructure - water supply, sewerage and others. Conditions necessitated the creation of a full range of activities and services, including: design, investment, construction, furnishing and sale of all property in which the company invested and built. New turnkey construction or repair for us is irrelevant as the quality of implementation and materials that fulfill the order are selected without compromise. In the company’s reference list, one of its leading doings is the creation of basic activities on the reconstruction and expansion of the entire production of nitrogen fertilizers in "Neohim" Dimitrovgrad. - the only producer of nitrogen fertilizers in Bulgaria and one of the biggest on the Balkan Peninsula. The works include the construction of new plants, new energy sources (gas-generator power), as well as repair of old equipment to improve environmental performance of work.
Monolit JSC is a contractor of one of registered landfills for municipal solid waste in Bulgaria - in the town of Harmanli. The landfil is performed according to all modern requirements for environmental protection, and during its exploitation, tight measures are being met for the technological processing. Monitoring system on compliance with environmental standards is introduced on the site.
The company has completed several projects for remedying environmental damage from old industries in the field of mining. Monolit JSC reconstructed and renewed old tailings used for this production in the towns of Madzharovo and Topolovgrad. One of the sites is connected with the construction of facility for liquidation of environmental impacts of ecological damage from old chemical production "Neohim" Dimitrovgrad. The whole circle is complete - from the building to the full restoration, in the landfill all contaminated building structures and ground soils are included on the territory of "Neohim" Dimitrovgrad.
Monolit JSC is one of the main contractors in the field of railway infrastructure in southern Bulgaria from 1997 until today. This includes the construction of a railway wagons in Plovdiv, participation in the reconstruction of the railway station Plovdiv and the inclusion of the company as general contractor for the reconstruction of Svilengrad railway station. In 2010 the company was selected as a subcontractor of the Italian company "Astaldi" in projects of national importance "Electrification and modernization of railway corridors IV and IX in Plovdiv - Svilengrad - a route strategic for the country. The company builds a new building of the railway station - village Yabalkovo, railway area – village Yabalkovo and the new building of the railway station - village Karadzhalovo with their respective adjacent infrastructure - platforms, shafts, lightposts and arrows for the platform stations, metal construction industrial safety lift, galvanized poles, pedestrian subways, sound barriers, retaining walls and more. In Monolit JSC’s reference list enter and concreting of the foundations of bridges railway stations Yabalkovo, Skobelevo, Karadzhalovo.
Another important group of objects in which the company operates are treatment plants for wastewater. In 2001 Monolit JSC ends WWTP Brewery "Astika", town of Haskovo, which today is owned by the Belgian company "Interbrew". Another example is the design and construction (CAW) of wastewater treatment plants, construction of sewerage and reconstruction of the existing water supply network in village Manolich, Municipality Sungurlare.
There are a lot of examples at building public sites. Some that come to mind are the "Commercial complex 21st century" in the town of Haskovo, who in 2000 won the prize for architecture SBA, administrative building of "Employment Agency", town of Haskovo, administrative building of Police, Haskovo, multiple offices, business and shopping centers.
In 2009 Monolit JSC completed the construction of the Thracian Art Museum in the Eastern Rhodopes in village Alexandrovo, Municipality Haskovo. It is in close proximity to the Thracian tomb near the village whose unique frescoes dating from the IV c. BC make it one of the most remarkable monuments of ancient fresco of the world. The project is funded by the Japanese Government under the "Program of the Japanese Government for aid in the field of culture" and its value is about 2 000 000 euros. The funds covered the construction of the museum center and the infrastructure surrounding it.
