It all began in 1994 when the heads of several smaller construction companies decided to join forces and to reach out in the name of something new and extensive. So firmly stepped on the ground they initiate Monolit JSC. Relying on their experience, they form stable management scheme that shows its effectiveness over time.
The ambitions and professionalism of the enterpreneurs make Monolit JSC climb up rapidly. From a small construction company it quickly grew into a large building and investment company with multiple satellite fields that enable the realization of large projects. Within the company, departments formed, some for design and some for selling real estate.
But it doesn’t end here. The company creates one closed chain – from construction , then onto furnishing and then selling everything in a complete package.
Step by step began the development of activities and units. The foundation was set in 1997 when Monolit JSC Haskovo became the majority owner of Modus JSC with its activity being woodworking, metalworking, concrete products and preparation of construction iron.
Since 2000, Modus JSC gradually acquired several quarries, meeting the needs of the company from building materials in large capacity to enable active participation in the construction market in Bulgaria – sieving quarries of the Maritsa River near to Skobelevo and Dimitrovgrad, the Arda River – in town of Madzharovo and village Potopnitsa, stone quarry near the village Krepost.
Monolit JSC has its own transport company since 2000 – Trans Aida JSC. With high capacity base for repair and servicing of the vehicles, Trans Aida JSC allows for the maintenance of a large number and variety of machines of heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, 120 and 250 ton cranes, tower cranes, concrete pumps, tractors with trailers heavyweight and many others.
Since 2003 it has lime and concrete holding centers in the towns of Haskovo, Dimitrovgrad and Madzharovo which today successfully develop as independent business units.
In 2004 part of the family began BKS-Madzharovo which has a quarry for aggregates, concrete and a construction base in the town, thereby expanding the scope of the company in Southern Bulgaria.
An important stage in the history of Monolit JSC is closely connected with the construction of Park hotel Green Europe in the town of Haskovo. With it during the spring of 2006 is marked the beginning of large investment projects of the company in the field of tourism. Today it is one of the most popular hotels in the region for holidays, business meetings, team building.
In 2008 the company includes in its scope investment interests, and also energetics. A Bulgarian-Italian company D.M. Energy was created, whose main direction is the development of investment activity, namely in the field of energetics. Founders of the new company with an equal participation share are Monolit JSC on the Bulgarian side and a major Italian company Dynamic Group which extends its activities not only in Italy but also in Brazil, Albania and Netherlands.
Currently for the first time, joint projects are being created for the production of electricial energy from alternative renewable energy sources (solar, wind and energy from wood).
Monolit Cranes Ltd. is one of the new companies in the structure of Monolit JSC.
The company was founded in the beginning of 2009 and its main activity is the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery. Monolit Cranes Ltd. offers rental of different models of cranes, as the use of services of the trained professionals who work in those facilities.
The newest addition to the structure of Monolit JSC is Monolit Transport Ltd. The company was founded in the early 2011. Its main activity is international transport. Main partner of the newly established company abroad is a Danish company “DSV Road A/S – one of the largest forwarding companies in Europe.
Today Monolit JSC extends its reach far with its own state of the art base in many major satellite directions/production workshops, concrete centers, quarries, etc./ as with its own vehicle fleet and heavy machinery.
The great potential of the company with its vast material resources and staff is revealed through the development of new activities which although not directly related to construction, just as quickly gain momentum like tourism, consulting, real estate trade and energetics.
They outline some of the guidelines for the future development of Monolit JSC, they expand the company’s scale and are a prerequisite for a continuous market presence.
This mix of units and initiatives puts the company amongst the worthy enterprises in Bulgaria. It is no secret to anyone, that through hard work, ,perseverance and honesty can open up much new perspectives for further development. We adhere to this maxim and will continue to follow it!
